Shalette Brown Chosen NJAC Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week!
Freshman guard Shalette Brown (Somerset, NJ, Franklin Township) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week on Monday as the league announced its first award winners for the 2012-2013 season.
Brown earns the first NJAC Rookie of the Week selection after averaging 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.0 steals per game while helping Montclair State claim the championship of the Gwynedd-Mercy College Tip-Off Tournament. Click here to read full story.
