Kristina Clark Scores 19pts As Women’s Basketball Sweeps Nittany Lions For First Program Win

Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Lions defeated cross-town rival Penn State Abington tonight in Thursday night action. The Lions collected their first win ever in school history, with a score of 64-24.

The win was highlighted by three players in double digits. Hajaaha Stevens dominated the boards, scoring 18 points, going 8-9 on the floor and pulled back six rebounds. She was complimented by Kristina Clark with 19 points and seven rebounds.

Stevens and Clark developed a dominating defensive presence in the first half. The Lions caused 20 turnovers, with Bianca Feliciano snagging five steals and Taylor Davis with 2 blocks. The score going into half-time was 29-13.

Women’s Basketball Falls to Centenary College in their Home Opener, 67-62

Bryn Athyn, Pa. – Bryn Athyn Women’s Basketball team hit the floor for their inaugural game on Monday evening at Asplundh Field House. Coach Kayla Felty, first time head coach for the Lions, started with an all freshmen line up to face opponent Centenary (1-1).

Hajaaha Stevens and Brittany Vick led in tonight’s match with 14 points each. Bianca Feliciano collected 10 rebounds, 7 points and 5 assists on the night.

The Cyclones initiated the game with a 14-4 run on the Lions. Stevens helped decreased the lead, by recording 11 points and 2 rebounds of her own in the first half. The Lions gained momentum going into intermission which was ignited by a three-point play led by Stevens. Cyclones finished on top in the first half 32-21.

Lions came out of half time with intensity, Vick led the charge scoring 14 points in the second. Bianca Feliciano created a dominating presence on the boards, and helped bring the Lions within 5 points at 10:25 in the game.

Freshman Janaysia James exploded for 34 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals as Dean College rolls through the field at New Hampshire Technical Institute Tournament! FROSTBURG, MD. – The No. 18 William Paterson women’s basketball team (1-1) bounced back from a four-point loss for a 21-point victory, defeating host Frostburg State (0-2), 86-65, Nov. 16 in the consolation game of the Jim Crawley Tournament.

The Pioneers controlled the game from early on, shooting 58.1 (25-43) percent from the floor and outscoring the Bobcats 44-6 in the paint en route to building a 56-34 halftime advantage.
