Brown Receives WBCA All-America Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. – For the second straight-straight season, Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham senior forward Shalette Brown has been selected to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division III All-America Team as announced by the association on Friday evening.

Brown is one of ten members selected to the team, which is voted on by the WBCA’s selection committee.

The senior forward led the Devils (21-7) to their fourth straight MAC Freedom title and fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance this season with another record-setting campaign.

Brown had a remarkable final season for the Devils. This season, the All-MAC Freedom First team selection and D3hoops.com All-Region First Team honoree became the program’s first ever player to eclipse 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.
