Giana Piccini scored a game-high 25 points and had seven rebounds as Keyport defeated Asbury Park, 64-55, in Asbury Park.

Shannan Devlin had 18 points, four steals and three rebounds while Alexis Bennett had seven points, eight rebounds and five steals for Keyport, which outscored its opponent, 22-9, in the fourth quarter to get the victory. Hannah Thomson added four points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals.

Kiara Wood scored 24 points, Krystina Barnes netted 17 points and Mary Graham had 10 points for Asbury Park.

McDonough Claims Three Weekly Honors As FDU Lays Claim To First Place!

MADISON, N.J. (January 17, 2017) – After being named MAC Freedom Player of the Week Monday, senior Alyssa McDonough of the FDU women’s basketball team added two more awards on Tuesday.

McDonough was one of five named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week, and shared Co-Player of the Week honors for the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association.

The senior was named to the D3Hoops Team of the Week as a forward, leading the Devils to a 2-0 week in conference action to sit atop the conference as the only unbeaten team in conference play. The Parlin, N.J. native finished the week averaging 15 points, 15 rebounds, 6.5 assists and three steals, flirting with a triple-double in an 83-51 win over conference favorite DeSales with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists. Earlier in the week, McDonough posted 15 rebounds to go along with 11 points, five assists and three steals in a 69-59 win over King’s.

McDonough shared Division II/III Player of the Week from the MBWA with Sierra Clark of Division II Adelphi, and is the second person in program history claim the honor from the MBWA. 2016 graduate Shalette Brown was the lone other person in program history to be honored by the MBWA, taking home Player of the Week accolades on February 7.

Steller Performance From Clark Helps Women's Basketball Get Back on Winning Track

After suffering the season’s first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) loss, Bryn Athyn College travels to Chambersburg, Pa. to face Wilson College and was paced by Kristina Clark who had an outstanding performance with season high 38 points and collegiate career high 32 rebounds. Clark wasted no time in the beginning as she quickly grabbed three rebounds and four points to put the Lions on the scoreboard first. In the end of the first quarter, Clark already had a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards. By the end of the second quarter, the Lions led 46-29 over the Phoenix.  Click Here For Full Article
