MADISON, N.J. (March 13, 2017) – Senior Alyssa McDonough and freshman Kendrea Williams were honored by D3Hoops.Com Monday.

McDonough was selected as a member of the First Team All-Atlantic Region. The senior also claimed First Team All-MAC Freedom honors for the second consecutive season. McDonough was second in conference-only scoring at 17.8 points per game, while also averaging 9.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.4 steals per game.

The senior was twice named MAC Freedom Player of the Week and was two-time Team of the Week selection. On Senior Day, McDonough became the second person in program to record a triple-double, totaling 15 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

Williams was named D3Hoops.Com Atlantic Region Rookie of the Year and was selected Third Team All-Atlantic Region, after being tabbed ECAC Rookie of the Year last week. The honor adds to a stellar rookie campaign for Williams, who in February also took home Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Rookie of the Year honors. A two-time MAC Freedom Player of the Week selection, the freshman guard averaged 19.8 points per game, the highest per game average since Simone Edwards averaged 23.7 points per game in 1992-93.

The Piscataway, N.J.native scored 30 points or more in a game on two occasions, and set a new program standard with 75 three-pointers made in a season. The rookie also tied the single game record for three-pointers in a game, as she drained seven against Catholic earlier in the year.
