MADISON, N.J. (March 20, 2017) – Freshman Kendrea Williams of the FDU women’s basketball team was named Rookie of the Year Sunday.

The Rookie of the Year adds to a laundry list of accolades for the first-year standout. Last week, Williams was named Atlantic Region Rookie of the Year by D3Hoops, and also was named Third Team All-Atlantic Region. The Piscataway, N.J. native was also named Rookie of the Year for the ECAC Metro Division as well as the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom. In conference, Williams was tabbed Second Team All-MAC Freedom.
