Sophomore Kendrea Williams becomes only the second player in FDU-Madison history to score 1,000 points in first two seasons!

MADISON, N.J. – With 4:29 left in the contest, FDU-Florham women’s basketball sophomore Kendrea Williams sunk a three-pointer to mark her milestone 1000th career point in just 48 collegiate games played as the Devils defeated conference rival Misericordia, 84-61, Saturday afternoon.

Williams needed 21 points to earn the milestone and without missing a beat, she sunk six three’s and three free throws to become the second Devil in the program’s history to reach 1000 points in her second season.

On her first three-pointer of the game, Williams broke her own single-season program record in three-pointers, finishing the triumph at 81 three-pointers made so far this season.

“I’m really proud of the work that young lady has put in to achieve this accomplishment,” head coach Marc Mitchell said. Click here for full article.
